Washi Pen Case made from handcrafted stencil-dyed Japanese washi paper and finished with water-repellent treatment. This zippered case is lined with synthetic leather for durability, making it an ideal accessory not only for pens but also storing small trinkets.
This case is made by Keijusha, a studio in Yao, Toyama Prefecture, where artisans carry on a tradition dating back to Japan’s Muromachi period (1336–1573). When industrial papermaking became widespread, Keijusha’s founder, Yoshida Keisuke, revitalized the local washi craft, ensuring its beauty and resilience continued to be celebrated. Their hand-stencil dyeing technique gives the paper a warm, soft texture and adds character.
Enjoy a piece of Japanese heritage in your daily life or gift it to someone special.
