Kyushu Saemidori Matcha | Ceremonial Grade | Premium first flush

New to the MATCHADO collection is this beautifully balanced matcha with a smooth, mellow sweetness and soft umami character.

Saemidori — meaning “clear green” — is a premium cultivar known for its vibrant colour, refined flavour, and gentle aroma. Grown in Kyushu and harvested in early May, this organic first flush matcha is exceptionally smooth and almost free from bitterness. Expect delicate floral notes, a round umami depth, and a mellow finish that lingers softly on the palate.

This is the matcha we’ve been proudly serving in our café drinks at King’s Cross and Chiswick since July — and from September it will be available to enjoy at home. Order now and we’ll deliver when our next shipment arrives from Japan in September.
