Carefully roasted to develop a rich, caramelised aroma and warm, toasty flavour with smooth, savoury umami, this powdered hōjicha is perfect for lattes. About Wazuka

Designated one of Japan’s most beautiful villages, Wazuka’s dramatic sloped tea fields are breathtaking, and its tea legacy dates back 800 years. As the largest producer in the Uji tea-growing region, Wazuka supplies around 40% of Uji tea, renowned for its high-quality green tea and matcha. Located south of Kyoto Prefecture near Nara, Wazuka embodies the heritage and skills of Japanese tea cultivation by small scale independent farmers.
