• Yame Okumidori – Smooth and mellow, with a rich flavour and vibrant green colour.
• Kyushu Saemidori – Rich in umami, with a bright green colour and very little astringency.

2. Kaya-ori Cotton Dishcloth

Made in Nara, Japan, kaya-ori is a traditional cotton weave originally used for mosquito nets. Its open weave allows air to circulate, making the fabric lightweight, absorbent and quick-drying.

This dishcloth is made from five layers of cotton and becomes softer and more absorbent with each wash. A useful addition to any kitchen, it's designed for everyday use.

Care instructions: Wash thoroughly in warm water before first use to remove the starch used during production. Can be washed with chlorine bleach. Avoid fabric softeners, as these can reduce the cloth's absorbency.
