New to the MATCHADO collection is this beautifully balanced matcha with a smooth, mellow sweetness and soft umami character.

 

Saemidori — meaning “clear green” — is a premium cultivar known for its vibrant colour, refined flavour, and gentle aroma. Grown in Kyushu and harvested in early May, this organic first flush matcha is exceptionally smooth and almost free from bitterness. Expect delicate floral notes, a round umami depth, and a mellow finish that lingers softly on the palate.

This is the matcha we’ve been proudly serving in our café drinks.

How to Prepare

  1. Sift 3g of matcha into a bowl or cup
  2. Add 60–70ml of hot water (70°C–80°C)
  3. Whisk with a chasen whisk until smooth and frothy
  4. Enjoy on its own, or with your favourite milk for a creamy matcha latte
